Becoming a Child Model

Our books are currently open for babies, children and teenagers aged newborn-16 years of all races and colourings. It is vital you read the Child Modelling FAQ page and the information below thoroughly before you apply.

When applying to join, the following should be taken into consideration:

• Babies/Toddlers - Should be happy in front of the camera, have a calm & content disposition, not fidgety/easily distracted, happy to go to strangers and live within easy reach of London.
• Children/Teenagers - Should be well behaved, confident, happy in front of the camera and enjoy meeting new people.

Please bare in mind that castings are generally very short notice, sometimes the agency is given less than 24hrs notice, and are mainly in Central London or surrounding. Castings for school age children are generally after school, normally between 4-6pm. Castings for children not of school age generally take place during the day in or around Central London.

Shoots will nearly always take place during the day, so for school age children, parents must be happy for their child to miss school as and when. The agency/client will apply for a child performance licence for your child when required. Parents must of course also be available to chaperone their child to castings/shoots.

 

To apply

Apply online: Fully complete the application form opposite. When prompted, the shots attached should be clear, good quality snapshots, preferably at least 1 close up/head and shoulder shot & 1 full length.

Apply by Post: You can either print off the application form opposite, complete fully and send together with x2-10 clear, good quality, recent snapshots including at least 1 close up/head and shoulder shot and 1 full length shot and an SAE for their safe return, or send all the details required on the application form on a sheet of paper together with the above mentioned snapshots and an SAE to: Bonnie & Betty, County House, 221-241 Beckenham Road, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 4UF

You will receive a response either way. Please allow 5 working days for a response when applying online or 7 working days when applying via post. We cannot accept uncompleted applications nor return photographs sent via post without an SAE. We cannot be held responsible for any photographs lost in the post by Royal Mail.
