How do I apply to register my child with your agency?
When our books are open, you can apply via the Join page on our website by completing the application form and uploading clear, recent photos of your child. The application form will only be live when our books are open. Once submitted, our team will review your application and get in touch if we’d like to take it further.
What age range do you represent?
We represent babies from as young as newborn, right up to teenagers (18 years), as well as family groups on our families division. We also supply chaperones and tutors within our casting division.
Does my child need professional photos to apply?
No – clear, natural photos taken in good lighting on a phone or camera are absolutely fine for the initial application. If we take your child on, we’ll advise on any further photography needs.
Is there a fee to join the agency?
Should your child be accepted to join the agency, you will be asked to cover the cost of a web page for your child, which is currently £75 including VAT for one year. If your child is on the model division only, this fee will be taken from your child's first earnings. This is in compliance with the BIS, as the current legislation states that an upfront work finding service fee cannot be charged to those working as a photographic model only.
How does the agency earn?
The agency earns from commission, which varies from 15-37.50% depending on the type of work. Commission is charged on all fees, excluding parent chaperone fees and travel expenses.
What kind of work could my child get booked for?
We work across a range of sectors. The work your child would be submitted for would depend on the division they are on, which are as follows
- Model: Stills and photographic modelling for all media including online, in-store, packaging, catalogues, e-commerce, etc.
- Talent: Commercials, videos (including music videos, educational, corporate/training videos, etc.), events, and voice work in these areas.
- Acting: Featured roles in TV, Film, & Theatre, and voice work in these areas.
- Casting (previously Extras/S.A Division): Supporting and background roles in TV, Film & Commercials.
Will I need to travel?
Yes, you may be required to travel to castings and bookings. Work can take place anywhere, but a large proportion of work tends to shoot in and around London/M25 in the South, and the Manchester in the North, so living within a reasonable distance of either is ideal.
Do I need to be available during school hours?
Often, yes. Many jobs happen during the day, so flexibility is key. We always work in line with child performance licensing laws and ensure proper permissions are in place.
How much will my child get paid?
Rates vary widely depending on the job, but we follow standard industry rates and will always confirm fees before a job is accepted.
What is a child performance licence, and do I need one?
For most work, a child performance licence is required by law from newborn until the child finishes Year 11. Don’t worry – we handle all of this on your behalf and guide you through the process where needed. We will request you to supply us with the paperwork required in the first instance when accepted to the agency.
Will my child definitely get work?
While we do our best to promote all our models and talent equally, work can never be guaranteed. Bookings depend on what the client is looking for at that moment in time.
No agency could possibly guarantee work, as they have no idea what work will come into their offices from one day to the next. If an agency tells you they can guarantee your child work, avoid them at all costs!
Can I stay with my child during bookings?
This will depend. For children under statutory school age, a parent will always be required to chaperone. Once they hit school age, a parent will either be requested to chaperone or production will organise a professional chaperone, in which case an adult will be required to drop off and pick up. Once a child no longer needs a licence, they also no longer need a chaperone and can attend bookings alone.
What makes your agency different?
We pride ourselves on our friendly, transparent, and professional approach. We treat every child as an individual and only take on those we truly believe we can represent well. Due to our separate divisions, we are one of the only UK agencies to have as much success in both the modelling and acting areas of the industry.
