🎭 Specialist Musical Theatre Opening: Ages 8–11yrs 🎭
We are currently inviting applications from a very specific group of triple-threat performers for a musical theatre focused opening.
This opportunity is strictly for children who meet ALL of the following criteria:
- Aged 8–11 yrs
- Under 140cms MAX in height
- Strong skills in acting, singing and dancing
- Live within a maximum of 1 hour travel time to Central London
- Able to commit to long-term stage contracts, typically 6–12 month runs, performing up to 4 times per week
👉 Please only apply if your child meets every requirement listed above. Applications that do not meet all criteria will not be considered.
Important note:
While this opening is driven by a current shortage of performers suited to musical theatre work, children accepted onto our books will be submitted for all suitable professional opportunities across TV, film, theatre and commercial work – not exclusively musical theatre.
We are looking for committed, reliable performers and families who fully understand the level of responsibility and time commitment that professional work requires.
VIDEO NOTES
- Shoot landscape, NOT portrait
- Shoot intro close up (head and shoulders)
- Shoot in good natural light against a plain wall/background, where possible
- Format must be MP4
- All videos should include the following and MUST be merged together into one video only
- INTRO/IDENT: Child should introduce themselves with name, age, height and location and a little bit about them - we want to see their personality! Around 1 minute long.
- ACTING: This can be a short monologue or duologue. Around 1 minute long.
- SINGING: A minimum of 1 verse & 1 chorus - song should preferably be an age appropriate MT song.
- DANCING: Short piece of dance - happy to see a few various clips if child is strong in a number of styles. Around 1–2 minutes long.
